Jessica Barth is an American actress who is best known for her role as Tami-Lynne McCafferty from the film Ted as well as the sequel.After high school, she enrolled in classes at the Wilma Theater and later went to La Salle University, where she studied communication for two years; she later earned a bachelor of Arts at West Chester University in which she majored in acting and creative writingBarth added to her resume, while working in three different restaurants in Los Angeles. Her acting career began by performing in theater plays. She was first featured in The District in 2004. In 2005, she starred in Neo Ned. Barth gained worldwide recognition for her portrayal of Tami-Lynn (the love lover of the title character) in Seth MacFarlane’s 2012 film Ted. She reprised the role in Ted 2 (2015).In 2012, Barth claimed that her manager David Guillod of drugging and sexually assaulting her. In 2017, she told the story. Guillod was charged with 11 felonies of sex-related crime which included rape, kidnapping and kidnapping. The arrests came after other women's allegations. She met with Weinstein in his hotel suite for a business gathering during which he "alternated between suggesting she be cast in a film and soliciting a naked massage in bed." MacFarlane was the director of Barth in the two Ted movies, stated his support for her allegations in a tweet.
