Scooter was born at Walterboro, South Carolina. At the age of nine, his family moved to Kirkwood Community of Atlanta, GA. In 2008, when he was charged with trafficking in drugs, he made the decision to start pursuing an opportunity in the field of music. Scooter is a childhood friend with the fellow Atlanta rapper Future.While his first mixtape , Plug Talkin didn't receive much attention and his next release Finessin and Flexin' he made his name in the music industry by collaborating with some of the biggest performers Future, Rocko and Waka Flocka Flame. Scooter put out 2 additional mixtapes in 2012: Married to the Streets and Voice of the Streetz, featuring production from Zaytoven, DJ Spinz Nard and B Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E. Gucci Mane, Alley Boy and more guests.
