Chloe Bennet

 American singer and actress Chloe Bennet. Her most famous work is ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013).Bennet was born Chloe Wang in Chicago. Her father is Han Chinese and her mother is a Caucasian American.At 15, she moved to China to pursue a career in singing under her birth name, Chloe Wang. While in China, Bennet lived with her paternal grandmother in Beijing and was a student of Mandarin. After singing as a performer then she relocated to Los Angeles. Her first appearance on screen was as host of the short-lived TeenNick summer dance show The Nightlife.While pursuing an acting career in Hollywood she changed her professional name to "Chloe Bennet", after having trouble getting gigs using her first name. According to Bennet, using her father's initials instead of his maiden name will allow her to be cast as an ethnic Asian American while respecting her father.From 2012-2013, she played an recurring role as a supporting character on the ABC drama series Nashville as Hailey. The show was launched in December 2012 as a series regular for the show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
