Alyson Hannigan is an American actress most famous for her roles as Michelle Flaherty in the 'American Pie films, Willow Rosenberg in the television series 'Buffy theVampire Slayer' as well as Lily Aldrin in the drama series "How I Met Your Mother'. When she was just four Hannigan began to appear in commercials and was already an actress at 11. Hannigan is currently one of the most well-known television actresses. Her acting abilities and the ability to portray characters that are flexible are admired by critics. She has received numerous awards for her contributions to the small and big screen, including the Saturn Award, one Young Hollywood Award and two People's Choice Awards. She was raised by divorced parents , and faced a difficult childhood. She was raised by a single mother, she started performing as a child in order to help contribute to the family's income.
