Alyson Hannigan is an American actress best recognized for her performances as Michelle Flaherty in the 'American Pie films, Willow Rosenberg in the television show 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer', and Lily Aldrin in the drama series "How I Met Your Mom'. At the age of four she started appearing in commercials and was an actress by the time she turned 11. Hannigan is now one of the most well-known TV actresses. Her acting skills and ability to play characters with a variety of roles are admired by critics. She has won numerous awards for her contribution to the small and big screen, including one Saturn Award, one Young Hollywood Award and two People's Choice Awards. The actress was faced with a tough childhood when her parents divorced when she was a child. As a child of a single parent, she started acting as a child to earn a family income.
