Isla Lang Fisher is an Australian writer and actress well-known for her portrayal of the character of 'Shannon Reed in the television series 'Home and Away'. She became a household name after playing the popular character on the Australian soap-opera for four seasons and was also rewarded with two nominations at the Logie Awards. In her early career, Fisher appeared in some TV commercials, and later took on quite a bit of work in the Australian television industry. After moving to Hollywood Fisher's fortunes improved and she worked in films such as "Wedding Crashers. She also performed voice-overs in animated films such as 'Scooby Doo", 'Horton, Hears a Who! ', Rango' and 'Rise of the Guardians. Fisher had a breakthrough in Hollywood when she appeared in the film 'Confessions of a Shoppingholic'. She also appeared in the film of 'The Great Gatsby' alongside Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio. Her most famous role came in the American thriller heist film "Now You See Me", where she played one of the leading characters, besides Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco. Fisher was also part of the critically popular American neonoir psychological thriller called 'Nocturnal Animals. In addition to acting, the multi-talented lady is also a prolific writer of two novels. Her teen novels, 'Bewitched' and 'Seduced by Fame' became bestsellers.
