Jack Nicholson, an American actor producer, director, and screenwriter He is an three-time Academy Award winner and twelve-time nominee. Nicholson is also known as one of two actors, the other being Michael Caine - who have received an Oscar nomination in each decade from the '60s through the '00s.Nicholson was born on the 22nd of April, 1937, in Neptune, New Jersey. He was taught that his grandmother was his mother as well as the mother of his father, June Frances Nicholson, an actress was his elder sister. In 1975 the Time magazine journalist was investigating his profile and came across the truth. His father was either Donald Furcillo (an Italian American showman) or Eddie King (Edgar Kirschfeld), who was born in Latvia and worked in the show industry. Jack's mother was Irish and had a lesser amount of English, German and Scottish roots. Jack made his film debut in The Cry Baby Killer (1958). He was not a meteoric success in Hollywood. In the years that followed the actor maintained his professional career through guest appearances on television and in a handful of Roger Corman films including The Little Shop of Horrors (1960).
