Joe Jonas

Joseph Adam Jonas, popularly called Joe Jonas, is a popular actor and singer who became famous as a member of the pop-rock band Jonas Brothers. Also, he is known for his roles in a handful of original films and TV shows on the Disney Channel. Along with his brothers, Paul Kevin Jonas II and Nicholas 'Nick' Jerry Jonas, he formed the Jonas Brothers band in 2005. After gaining some popularity through their music, they became even more famous through some of their appearances on the Disney Channel TV Network. In 2008, they were featured in Camp Rock (a Disney Channel Original Movie) as well as its sequel Camp Rock 2. The group is also known for its philanthropic activities. They gave 10 percent of their estimated $12 million profits to Change for the Children Foundation in 2007. The group has won a number of important awards, including the American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. Joe Jonas also released a solo album, called Fastlife, in 2011. It was a modest commercial success. It was at number 15 on US Billboard 200 within its initial week, but rapidly dropped off the charts. Joe created a new band known as DNCE in 2015 following the breakup of the Jonas Brothers. The band released their first single in the year, Cake by the Ocean. The Jonas Brothers returned in 2019 with their fifth studio album Happiness Begin. It was a top hit on the US Billboard 200.
