Kat Dennings was born Katherine Victoria Litwack near Philadelphia to Ellen (Schatz), who is an author as well as a speech therapist as well as Gerald Litwack (a molecular pharmacistcologist). She is the youngest of five. The family she comes from is Russian Jewish. Kat was predominantly home-schooled and graduated at the age 14. Kat was raised at a family and was able to graduate at the age 14. Then, she gained fame through performances in The House Bunny (2008) and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008).
