Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi, an Argentinian soccer player, is widely considered to be one of the greatest athletes of the present. He is a part of the Argentina national team as well as FC Barcelona. He has been the FIFA world player of the year four times, which is a record. Due to his record of goal scoring and his ability to pass his opponents and score goals, he is referred to as Diego Maradona's successor. Messi is the one who will replace me as a player in Argentine soccer. Messi is an incredible player and could be a great player. His possibilities are endless and I think Messi has all the ingredients to become Argentina's top player. His father worked in a factory and his mother worked as cleaner. He started playing soccer at the age of five and soon discovered his talent. At the age of 11, the player was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficit (GHD). The condition led Messi to suffer from a slowed growth rate, and required expensive medical treatment. The club he played for at River Plate was interested in signing him, but they couldn't pay for his treatment. Messi was given a chance to test the waters with Barcelona and the coach Carles Remach was amazed. He provided Messi an agreement (written on napkins made of paper!) It also covered Messi's treatment in Spain. Messi relocated to Barcelona with his father and became a part of the FC Barcelona youth academy.
