New Zealand icon Lucy Lawless is most known for her role as "Xena the Warrior Princess". Lucy is married to producer Rob Tapert (Robert Gerard Tapert) and lives in New Zealand. Their two sons are Judah Miro Tapert (Judah Robert Bay Tapert) who both were born in New Zealand. Lucy also has a daughter named Daisy Lawless. She was also a wife to Garth Lawless in her first marriage. Lucy was born Lucille Frances Ryan to Julie who was a teacher as well as Frank Ryan (a banker and the mayor of the city). She was awarded an Order of Merit in the New Zealand Queen's Birthday Honor List in June 2004. Lucy's role as "Xena: Warrior Princess", made her a cult TV star. She was also involved with the Starship Foundation, and served as its president. Lucy was awarded the Order of Merit in 1995 for her services to the entertainment industry and the community. She also served as an official on the Starship Foundation's board. Lucy has also appeared in a number of TV-produced films, including Locusts (2005) as well as Vampire Bats (2005).
