Salma Hayek

 Salma Hayek was conceived in Coatzacoalcos (Mexico) on September 2nd in 1966. Her father is Lebanese and her mother is Spanish/Mexican. She was a part of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) at the local theater, and decided that she wanted to be an actress. When she was 12, she was enrolled to the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended Mexico City's prestigious university of the Sacred Heart located in New Orleans, Louisiana. In the next few years, she was ready to take up acting with a serious level. Teresa (1989), an extremely successful soap opera that earned her stardom in Mexico she was offered the lead role. She was eager to make films and to explore her passions and talent as she left Mexico (1989) as well as Teresa (1991). Heartbroken fans spread rumors that she was in an affair with Mexico's President and fled to avoid his wife's wrath. The actress travelled to Los Angeles. She walked into Hollywood with a youthful enthusiasm. She soon realized that Latina actresses were often typecast as mistress maids or local prostitutes.
