Aly Michalka is an American actor and recording artist, best known for playing one of the principal roles in 'Phil of the Future" the American science-fiction comedy that aired on Disney channel. Her appearance in the series, which was also her first TV appearance, earned her a nomination for an Young Artist Award. She then followed it with appearances in a variety of TV movies. Her next important TV role was the TV show "Hellcats". It was a moderate success. Her film debut was as the leading role in 'Bandslam. Her other films in the cinema include her performance in the psychological thriller 'The Roommate'. She is currently seen in "Weepah Way to Go", a film she co-produced. She is also a part of Aly & AJ, along with her sister. They've released a number of albums too. She is best known for her latest role in the TV series "MacGyver".
