 Christina Applegate, an American actress and dancer, is an award-winning American actress. Applegate played a significant part of the American comedy show "Married... With Children", for which she became famous. The show aired for 10 consecutive years and gained huge popularity in the US. It was later telecast in many other countries. She played a guest role in the cult American situational comedy series 'Friends'. She received an Emmy Award for her role. She also won nominations for the Golden Globe and the Tony Award. Applegate has appeared in several movies as well. Applegate has also been seen in major roles in movies like "Grand Theft Parsons" and "Vacations". Recent roles include a major role in the comedy film Crash Pad' as well as a cameo appearance in the film A Bad Mom’s Christmas'. She is also involved with several charitable organizations. As a breast cancer survivor, she has been promoting breast cancer awareness for quite a while. She is a vegetarian and is a PETA supporter of the anti-fur campaign as well as the "World Animal Protection"
