Daisy Ridley

 Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley, an English actress. She is most well-known for her role in the film "Rey" in the 2015 film, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens (2015). Daisy was born in Westminster, London, on April 10, 1992. She is the daughter Louise Fawkner Corbett and Chris Ridley. Her great-uncle, Arnold Ridley, was an English actor and playwright. He was also made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. He is best known for writing "The Ghost Train" and for his role as "Private Godfrey" on the British sitcom Dad's Army (1968). Daisy was educated in musical theatre at the Tring Park School for Performing Arts in Hertfordshire. She graduated in 2010 from this school. Her talent includes ballet, Latin American dancing, jazz dancing and tap. Her voice is mezzo-soprano, where she is particularly skilled in jazz and cabaret. Upon graduation, Daisy was hired in a number of roles on television, films and in music. She was selected to play the role of "Jessie" in the British comedy-drama Youngers (2013). She was "Fran Bedingfield" in the title of a BBC series (1986), and "Charlotte", a British comedy called Toast of London (2012). She was opposite Jeremy Piven in 2014 as "Roxy Starlet" during the second season of ITV's Mr Selfridge (2013) and "Charlotte" in Toast of London (2012). In Silent Witness (1996), she also played the role as Hannah Kennedy. Other roles she appeared in were Scrawl, 100% Beef and Crossed Wires. She was also featured in Blue Season, which was included in the Sci-Fi London 48-Hour Film Challenge, and Lifesaver, which was nominated for the BAFTA Award. She also appeared in Wiley's British rap music video"Lights On.
