DJ Khaled is an American radio host, YouTuber and rapper. He is also known as his stage name Khaled Mohamed Khaled. The YouTube channel of DJ Khaled is extremely popular online since it has managed accumulate more than 8.6 million subscribers. Before his stage name was the name 'Arab Attack' however, following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the stage name changed to DJ Khaled. Khaled began his climb to stardom in radio hosting as well as DJing at an FM station in Florida. He then joined the hip hop group 'Terror Squad' in 1998. He worked as radio host for the urban radio station WEDR in Miami. He was a YouTube celebrity due to his snapchat-related videos. Numerous albums (bonus tracks and remixes) have been created by DJ Khaled in collaboration with famous people such as Rick Ross, Birdman Lil Wayne, Kanye West or Kanye West. Two 'Grammy' nominations were accepted and he was awarded the 2008 'DJ of the Year Award at the Ozone Awards.
