Elisabeth Moss

 Elisabeth Singleton Moss, an American stage actor, film and TV is well-known for her performances in The West Wing and 'Mad Men'. Her performances on television's The West Wing (and 'Mad Men') are among her most well-known. She was born in Los Angeles, California, to musician parents and aspiring to become a performer and professional dancer. She moved to New York City to train as a ballet dancer , and took classes in the same. Then she was able to secure offers to act and learned to combine studies and a career at an early age. She was more advanced than the majority of her peers because she was a homeschooled student. Additionally, she was a part of in numerous film and television roles. She was a part of seven seasons of the television political drama 'The West Wing' in which she played the role of the daughter of the president. Peggy Olson, the main role she played in the AMC series "Mad Men" was her other. She was awarded the 'Golden Globe' Award for her performance on the miniseries, 'Top of the Lake' in the year 2014. For her role as the handmaid in 'The Handmaid's Tale', she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Leading Actress.
