Giada Pamela De Laurentiis is born in Italy. She is an American chef, television personality as well as a writer. She is known as host of the television show 'Giada at Home' which is a part of Food Network. She's been nominated for two Emmy Awards, and also received the Gracie Award. Laurentiis was born in Rome. She emigrated to the USA when she was a little girl. In the beginning, she was a chef at various restaurants in Los Angeles. After styling a piece for the magazine 'Food & Wine in the year 2000, she was approached afterward by the Food Network. The show was eventually renamed a daytime cooking show 'Everything Italian' which won her an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Lifestyle Host'. She is currently the host of the television show, 'Giada At Home'. Laurentiis has authored several books as well. Laurentiis' novels 'Giada At Home' and "Weeknights" were at the top of the New York Times Best Seller List. She was admitted to the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2012.
