Joe Montana

Joseph Clifford Montana Jr. (born June 11th 1956) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 years, most notably with the San Francisco 49ers. Montana was also referred to as "Joe Cool" or "the Comeback Kid", is widely considered to be one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play. After winning a national title at Notre Dame, Montana began his NFL career in 1979 in San Francisco, where he played for the following 14 seasons. 7. Montana was the 49ers' Super Bowl MVP and was the first player to win four Super Bowls. Montana also holds Super Bowl career records for the most passes with no interception (122 in four games) and also the all-time best score for a passer of 127.8. In 1993, Montana was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played for his last two seasons, and led the team to their first AFC Championship Game. Montana was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
