Julie Benz

 Julie Benz was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on May 1, 1972. Julie's father works as a Pittsburgh surgeon, and her mother is figure skater. Julie's family relocated to Murrysville when she was two years old. She started ice skating at three. She competed at the 1988 U.S. Championships in junior ice dancing with her partner David Schilling, coming in 13th. Her older brother and sister, Jeffrey and Jennifer, participated in the 1987 U.S. She was the Junior Champion in ice dancing, and she also competed internationally. Julie was just 14 when she suffered the stress fracture. She was forced to quit figure skating and turned into acting. Julie got a part in "Street Law" at the theater in town. Her first movie role was a minor, but credited speaking part the Black Cat episode in the Dario Argento/ George A. Romero co-directing horror film, Two Evil Eyes (1990) acting in one scene alongside Harvey Keitel. A year later she was offered a role in the television series Hi Honey. I'm home (1991).
