Mandy Moore

 Amanda Leigh Moore was born April 10, 1984 in Nashua (New Hampshire) to Stacy (Friedman), an ex-news journalist, and Don Moore (an airline pilot). As a child, her family moved to Orlando, Florida, where she was raised. She is Russian Jewish (from her maternal grandfather), English, Scottish and Irish, ancestry.After seeing the musical "Oklahoma! She decided to pursue a career as a vocalist. As a child, she performed the National Anthem at several athletic events in her home town in Orlando, Florida, and became known as the "National Anthem girl". A FedEx employee passed through while she was recording in the Orlando studio. He was intrigued by her talent, and heard her singing it. He also had a connection with an individual from Sony. Moore created a demo, shortly after signing an agreement with Sony 550 Music. When she was 15, her debut album "So Real" was released. Her first tour was with The Backstreet Boys.
