Master P

Percy Miller, also known as Master P, was born in New Orleans on April 29 1970. He was raised in the poverty of Calliope Housing Projects. However he was determined and motivated to achieve his goals and dreams. This led to him becoming an entrepreneur with a lot of success. As a student-athlete at the University of Houston, he took classes in Business Communications and later relocated to Richmond, CA where he opened his first small company, a record shop he called No Limit Records. He turned it into a record label, which grew to be one of the most renowned music labels in the world. He became a music mogul and began to expand into other fields of the industry such as film, television, acting, producing and sports. However, his passion to help others and his philanthropy inspired him to establish Let The Kids Grow Foundation. Its purpose is to help children and their families by providing extra-curricular activities and strengthening family activities within their communities. The foundation's founder Percy Miller discovered a way to help keep inner city youngsters safe from violence and drugs by providing a safe place for children to express themselves by expressing their positive energy through film
