Orenthal James Simpson was a former American football actor, commentator, and player. His record-breaking and remarkable career in football was often referred to as "the Juice". He also had numerous other opportunities that were a source of inspiration for many others. Professionally, he played as the running back for 11 seasons for the Buffalo Bills' in the 'National Football League' (NFL). He's the only NFL player who has run for more than 2000 yards during one season. Also, he holds the record of being the only player to average a yard-per-game of 143.1 in one season. While he was at the peak as a football player however, he also tried his hand in the world of film acting as an actor. He quit professional football and then became broadcaster for football. In addition, he continued his acting career. His name was included in the College Football Hall of Fame and 'Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was a victim of numerous legal issues including murder charges of his former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. He was accused of kidnapping and armed robbery as well as other offenses in Las Vegas in 2007. He is currently a sentenced felon in the Lovelock Correctional Center located in Nevada serving a sentence of 33 years in prison without parole for at least 9 years.
