 Rebel Melanie Elizabeth Wilson, an Australian actress, is known for her comedy roles. She is also an author and producer. She has appeared in films and TV series, such as 'Bachelorette,' an American romantic comedy, and 'Super Fun Night,' a popular American TV show. Wilson was born in Sydney, New South Wales. She studied acting at the Australian Theatre for Young People. She later moved to New York as a scholarship recipient to further her education. Her first significant work was in the musical 'The Westie Monologues' which brought her to national interest. Her acting career began through the Australian TV show 'Pizza in which she played a supporting role. The series also produced a spin-off film in which she reprised her role. After appearing in several other well-known TV shows and films throughout the years, she eventually became known internationally, particularly for her roles in American films, like 'Bachelorette' and 'Pitch Perfect.' She also voiced a character in the videogame Ice Age: Continental Drift. Her acting talents have been recognized with numerous awards, including the 'Teen Choice Award' and the 'MTV Movie Award.
