Steve Martin

 Steve Martin is a multiple award-winning American actor, comedian and writer. He first gained notice as a writer for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. His first professional venture was as a stand-up comedian and he would perform his routines at local clubs. He later stepped into television and made his first appearance on 'The Steve Allen Show' following which he appeared on 'The Virginia Graham Show'. He was a well-known TV star who appeared on a variety of shows and made a successful television debut. Following his appearance on NBC's Saturday Night Live (SNL) and his subsequent appearance on SNL, he became famous and invited to host the show 15 times. Steve Martin's comedy album"A Crazy and Wild The Wild and Crazy Guy', were also popular. 2 on Billboard's Pop Albums Chart and was certified double platinum. By this time he had gained a massive fan base, and he realized the right time was now to explore film. He made his first appearance in the film 'The Absent Minded Waiter' , which earned him an Academy Award nomination. In addition to acting as an actor and comedian, he's also a musician.
