Keesha Ulricka (nee Flett, born June 9 1973) is an American actress. She is also a film and television director. Prior to her character in the role of Monica Charles Brooks on UPN/The CW's comedy series Girlfriends (2002-08), Sharp began her career in television dramas. She was nominated for the NAACP Image Award, which is for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. (2007) and, from 2010 to 2013 co-starred in the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet?. In 2016, she appeared as Dale Cochran, the wife of Johnnie Cochran, in the FX anthology drama series, The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Sharp starred in Fox's police comedy-drama series Lethal Weapon from 2016 to 2019. She was born in Rochester. Sharp began her career performing on stage when she graduated cum laude at The Boston Conservatory. Sharp was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the interactive comedy Eat the Runt. Other stage performances include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin, Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Before moving to Los Angeles, she was an actress in Welcome to New York, Third Watch and Law & Order The Special Victims Unit.
