Rachelle Marie Lefevre, /l@’fev-- French: [RaSel-MaRi l@fev]; was born February 1st, 1979. She is a Canadian actor. She appeared on the television show Big Wolf on Campus, as well as playing recurring parts on What About Brian, Boston Legal, Swingtown, and Swingtown. She played the role of the vampire Victoria in the first two films in the Twilight series. In 2011, she appeared in the ABC medical drama Off the Map, followed by the CBS series A Gifted Man (2011-2012) and Under the Dome (2013-2015).Lefevre was born in Montreal, Quebec, where she was raised by an English father who was a teacher and a psychologist mother. Her father's family comes of France as well as Northern Ireland, and her maternal grandparents are Jewish.Her stepfather is a rabbi.Lefevre was raised in a non-denominational household and is Jewish.She has three sisters, and is fluent in both English and French however she grew up mostly speaking English. Lefevre was educated at Centennial Academy and then at Dawson College. She also took classes in theater and creative arts at Walnut Hill School in Natick (Massachusetts) and began with a degree in education at McGill University.
