Ashley Williams Dodson known as Ashley Williams, is an American actress. Her television appearances include The Jim Gaffigan show on TV Land, and Good Morning Miami on NBC. Williams starred opposite Josh Radnor in the CBS series How I Met Your Mother. She has starred in more than a dozen different TV pilots throughout the years and done over 150 TV episodes along with television-based films for The Hallmark Channel, Lifetime Television and ABC Family. She has worked in studio and independent films, regional theater, Off-Broadway, and on Broadway.Daughter of Gurney Williams and Linda Williams.. Elder siblings are actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Los Angeles County firefighter/paramedic Jay Williams. Sister-in-law of country music star Brad Paisley.
