Colin Kaepernick

 Colin Rand Kaepernick, an American professional football quarterback. As a kid he was attracted to football, baseball and basketball. He participated in the three of the major American sports with impressive success. When he was accepted into a youth football league, he began playing football at the age of eight. He was a punter as well as a defensive lineman. The following year when he was the team's quarterback and made his very first pass for an extended touchdown. He was also a part of the team of his high school baseball team as a pitcher who could throw fastballs that could reach 94 miles-per-hour. In basketball, he led his team to the state championship in high school. Kaepernick was keen to play football in college despite his achievements in baseball. He went to the University of Nevada, Reno and joined their Nevada Wolf Pack football program. The 49ers from San Francisco selected the quarterback as their backup. He was 25 years old and played a significant part in the 49ers taking home the NFC title. In 2016, he was both criticized and praised for his stand against the oppression faced by people of color.
