Emily Mallory Procter is an American actor in television and film. She graduated with the degree of journalism and later was a forecaster for weather in the entertainment industry. With the help of her father, she attended acting classes and began to appear in small yet significant roles in hit television shows like 'Friends' and 'Lois & Clark'. Her first big screen appearance in 1995 in the Academy Award-winning film 'Leaving Las Vegas' and the following year, worked with Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Renee Zellweger in 'Jerry Maguire'. 1999 proved to be a busy year for the talented actress who played support roles in four distinct films. Between 2000 between 2000 and 2002, she had featured in the The West Wing. She also played briefly in 2006 prior to making her debut as Calleigh Duquesne in the police procedural drama CSI: Miami. Through its 10-season run the show was a massive success, making Procter an international superstar.
