Evangeline Lilly

 Canadian actor and writer Evangeline Llly. Her character as 'Kate Austen in the cult TV series 'Lost' is what she is best remembered. It was among the top programs on the 'ABC' network, and Lilly played the female lead. She was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in the series. She also appeared in films like The Hurt Locker 'Real Steel,' and the 'The Hobbit' series. Lilly is one actor who is a part of Hollywood who's never dreamed of becoming an actor. Born in a household of devout Christians, Lilly was interested in charitable and humane activities since her childhood days. Lilly was a part of an expedition to the Philippines as a teenager. Her introduction to modeling and acting was made possible by an accidental discovery by a modeling agency. As a way to make ends meet for the university expenses she decided to take up modeling. Even though she was awarded praise for her performances, Lilly maintains that attaining fame was not her primary decision. She is also a prolific writer and reader. Lilly is the author of "The Squickerwonkers", a children's book. She is involved in different 'NGO's' and is also working towards her acting career. Lilly will appear in the series film "Avengers," which is produced by Marvel Studios.
