Giada Pamela De Laurentiis is born in Italy. She is an American chef, television host and writer. She is the host of the television show "Giada at home" which is on Food Network. The show has earned her two nominations for the Emmy Award and has also earned her the Gracie Award. Laurentiis was born in Rome. She immigrated to the USA as a child. In the beginning, she was an executive chef in various establishments in Los Angeles. After styling a piece for 'Food and Wine magazine in the year 2000, she was approached later by the Food Network. Her cooking show on daytime, "Everything Italian", won her an Emmy Award as 'Outstanding Lifestyle host'. She is currently the host of the television show, 'Giada At Home'. Laurentiis is also the writer of several books. "Giada at Home" and 'Weeknights' occupied the first position on the New York Times Best Seller List. She was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2012.
