Then, Black was the star of the critically acclaimed School of Rock in 2003. The animated film of Black Kung Fu Panda was a massive success at the box office in 2008. In the same year, he appeared in Tropic Thunder. He also appeared in R.L. Stine's Goosebumps (2015) and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017). Black is also part of the Grammy-winning comedy duo Tenacious D.Actor as well as musician Jack Black. He was born Thomas Jacob Black in Santa Monica, California, on August 28, 1969.
