 Jessica Simpson, a talented artist with a universal appeal and a popular celebrity in the media and an international sensation. She has made waves in the fashion, entertainment and music industries to the forefront. Jessica made her debut on the spotlight with her unmistakable voice and has since released eight smash-producing albums. Her roles include appearances on films and television, such as The 70's Show Fashion Star, and the Price of Beauty, as and films like Blonde Ambition, Employee of the Month, and Dukes of Hazzard. Jessica Simpson Collection is a collection that began over a decade ago, has proven to be a massive success as a designer/entrepreneur. The collection has expanded to include over 36 categories of merchandise and is available throughout the world.Jessica Ann Simpson was born and raised outside of Abilene, Texas, to Tina Simpson (nee Drew) and Joe Simpson, who is a psychologist and a Baptist youth pastor. Her first stage career began performing on stage with famous gospel acts such as Kirk Franklin, God's Property and Ce Ce Winans. With her distinct voice and distinctive pop sound, Jessica caught the eye of Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola. After a concert tour in support of the boy band 98 Degrees, she quickly became a star on the music scene in 1999 with her debut release Sweet Kisses. Her RIAA-certified double platinum debut featured Jessica's massive breakthrough single, "I Wanna Love You Forever" which reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
