Jimmy Fallon, aka James Thomas Fallon, Jr. was born on 19 September 1974 in New York, New York, U.S.A. He is an American comedian, talk show host as well as a writer and host who left school to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian in Los Angeles. In the next few years but he returned to New York City to audition for a slot on SNL, and he joined the cast in 1998. The SNL format served as a showcase for Fallon's comedic impressions. He often portrayed celebrities and created memorable characters , such as Jarret the stoner, and Nick Burns, a patronizing computer expert. Fallon was host of SNL's weekly update show "Weekend Update" alongside Tina Fey for the last four seasons. The skit featured the anchors of the news mixing comedy with current stories from the news.
