The beautiful brunette Jordana Brewster was born on April 26, 1980, in Panama City, Panama. Maria Joao Leal de Sousa (brazilian-born model) was her mother. She appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1978. Alden Brewster, her father is an American-born investment banker. He has English, Scottish and Irish roots. Her maternal grandfather, Mayflower descendant Kingman Brewster, Jr. was president of Yale University from 1963 to 1977. Jordana was born in London, England up until the age of six. Her family made the decision to relocate to Rio de Janeiro, where her mother was born. There, they would remain for the next 4 years. In her four years in Rio de Janeiro, Jordana was able to speak fluently Portuguese. When she was ten Jordana's family decided to move again, only this time they'd relocate to Manhattan. Jordana was a student at Sacred Heart Catholic School, an all-girls Catholic school. Then she went on to the New York Professional Children's School. Jordana became famous for herself during her teenage years by being featured in two of the longest-running soap operas on television during the daytime.
