 Katy Perry, an American musician and singer was born into a strict family. She grew up with a lot of restrictions. She began singing at the church as a young girl and then moved on to gospel music as in her teens. Perry listened to all types of music despite the fact that she was ostracized by her parents. She was a natural musician and had a passion for music from her childhood. She was loud and ardent in her support of her dream to be a musician. Her career didn't go as planned at the beginning and had to face many obstacles before getting her first big break. Many of her songs were put aside prior to being signed by the 'Capitol Records.' The second album she released, "One of the Boys", was a big success and was a turning point for her musical career. Thus, she was launched as a professional singer and has never looked back since. Her second album, 'Teenage dreams' won the hearts of many music enthusiasts and was one of the top albums ever.
