Kevin Costner

 Kevin Michael Costner is an American actor, director, and singer, renowned for his impressive portrayal of rugged characters with complicated emotions. He was born to middle-class parents. Although he went to numerous schools to complete his studies, he wasn't attracted to studying. He was more interested in arts and sports like playing the piano or writing poetry. Kevin Costner, who graduated from Fullerton's business school and then landed the job of a marketing manager despite his desire to go into acting. After an unintentional meeting with actor Richard Burton, who encouraged him to take up acting as a profession, Costner started taking acting lessons and pursuing various jobs to help support his family. He appeared in minor roles and cameos in a few of his early films. But, the movie The Untouchables in 1987 was his breakout role. It was followed by dramatic breakthroughs in films including No Way Out, Bull Durham and Field of Dreams, all of which solidified his status as an actor with star status. He established himself later as a great director and producer with Dances with Wolves, his epic Western war film. It won the Academy Award in Best Picture and also the Academy Award to Best Director.
