Keesha Ulricka Sharp (nee Fleth; born on June 9, 1973)is an American actress and film / television director. She began her career appearing in television dramas. She then took on her role in the role of Monica Charles Brooks in the comedy series UPN/TheCW, Girlfriends (2002-08), in which she was awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the category of Comedy Series nomination.Sharp later has appeared in films include American Adobo (2002), Why Did I Get Married? She was a part of Are We Still There Then What? on TBS from 2010 until 2013. Sharp played Dale Cochran in The People v. O. J. Simpson - American Crime Story, an FX drama series. Sharp starred in Fox's police comedy-drama series Lethal Weapon from 2016 to the year 2019. Sharp was born in Rochester. After graduating with a cum laude degree from The Boston Conservatory, Sharp began her journey to the stage. Sharp was in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel and was also featured Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. She also starred in eight characters in the animated comedy Eat the Runt. Other performances in the theatre include Abyssinia and Thunder Knockin and Jitney. She was also a part in The Producers, Big Street and Suburb and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. In television, she was on Welcome to New York, Third Watch, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, before making the move to Los Angeles.
