Nikki Reed

 Nicole Houston Reed (born May 17, 1988) is an American actress who is famous for her performance as the vampire Rosalie Hale in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). After the 2003 release of Thirteen which was written and directed by Catherine Hardwicke, Reed became well-known. She also played an important part in the film. The film earned Reed the Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance and a number of nominations.Nicole Houston Reed was born in West Los Angeles, California and was married to Cheryl Houston, a beautician, and to Seth Reed, a production designer. She is half-brother to Nathan August Reed and Joey Reed. Her mother is an Italian Christian as is her father, who is Jewish. Reed was raised in a secular home and is currently an Jewish person. She was raised around Jewish practices, as her brother had a Bar Mitzvah.Reed has stated in many interviews that her early home life was "complicated". Reed's parents separated when she was two , and she was brought up in Los Angeles by her mom. Reed was 14 when she moved out of her mother’s house and moved in with her parents in Los Angeles. After Thirteen's success, Reed went back to Alexander Hamilton High School, Los Angeles, but she dropped out after one year. Reed claimed that her departure was due to "mothers who were sneaking in during lunchtimes to confront her and pester her about film"
