Nikki Reed

 Nicole Houston Reed (born May 17th 1988) is an American actress who is famous for her role as vampire Rosalie Hale in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). Her fame was first noticed in 2003, following the release of the film Thirteen produced by Catherine Hardwicke in which she was acknowledged with Hardwicke for co-writing of the screenplay, and in which she played a lead role. The film won Reed the Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance and a number of nominations.Nicole Houston Reed was born in West Los Angeles, California and was married to Cheryl Houston, a beautician and Seth Reed, a production designer. Her older brother, Nathan August Reed, and an older half-brother named Joey Reed. Her mother is an orthodox Christian of part Italian descent, whereas her father is Jewish. Reed was raised in a secular home and is currently a Jewish person. Reed grew up with Jewish traditions, her brother being the honor of a Bar Mitzvah. Reed has said in numerous interviews that her childhood was hard. Reed's parents separated when she was two , and her mother raised her in Los Angeles. Reed at the age of 14 moved out of her mother’s house and moved in with her parents in Los Angeles. After Thirteen's success, Reed went back to Alexander Hamilton High School, Los Angeles, but she dropped out after one year. Reed claimed that her decision was due to "mothers who were sneaking into her lunchtime rooms to confront her and harass her over film"
