Nikki Reed

 Nicole Houston Reed (born May 17th in 1988) is an American actress known for her role as vampire Rosalie Hale in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). Following the release in 2003 of Thirteen, directed and written by Catherine Hardwicke became famous. She also had an integral role in the movie. Her parents were Cheryl Houston, a beautician and Seth Reed (a production designer) located in West Los Angeles, California. She has an older brother named Nathan August Reed, and an older half-brother named Joey Reed. Her mother is a Christian with a part Italian heritage, whereas her father is Jewish. Reed was raised in a secular home and is now a Jewish person. She was exposed to a variety of Jewish practices, and her brother had Bar Mitzvah.Reed has said in numerous interviews that her childhood life was "complicated". Reed's parents separated at age two, and she was raised in Los Angeles by her mother. In 2002, when Reed was 14 she left her mother's house and began living alone, mostly in apartments in the Los Angeles area.After Thirteen's success, Reed returned to Alexander Hamilton High School in Los Angeles, but dropped out again after a year. Reed claimed that her departure was due to "mothers who would come in during lunch to talk to her and harass her about film"
