Lucy Liu

Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress producer, director, and singer. She is an attractive, talented actress who inspires many Asian actors to become stars in Hollywood. After a few appearances in the most popular shows she gained fame for her role as the evil 'Ling Woo in the legal comedy series Ally McBeal. The actress turned her popularity to big screen roles in films like 'Shanghai noon and 'Charlie's Angles.' In Quentin Tarantino’s film Kill Bill, Volume 1 she delivered a breathtaking performance as O-Ren Ishii an infamous Japanese criminal lord. At the same time she also played the lead roles in a few box office failures like 'Rise: Blood Hunter.' Then, she began voicing major characters in animated films like "Kung Fu Panda" as well as Tinker Bell.' The actress did not achieve outcomes in smaller screen roles such as Mia Mason's role in 'Cashmere' Mafia. She was able regain her reputation as an actress through an occasional role on the critically acclaimed series Southland which is a crime drama. Liu chooses her roles with utmost care so that she doesn't get typecast in a competitive industry. Liu has never let her family's heritage restrict her artistic abilities.
